Dave Walvoord most recently served as the Cinematographer on the feature animated film “David” at Sunrise Animation Studios. Prior to joining Sunrise he was at DreamWorks Animation and served as the Visual FX Supervisor for the feature animated films “Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken,” “How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” and “How to Train Your Dragon 2.” Prior to this role he was Digital Effects Supervisor and Head of Lighting for “Kung Fu Panda 2,” and the 2010 “Kung Fu Panda Holiday” Television Special. Dave worked as CG Supervisor on the films “Kung Fu Panda,” “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa,” “Over the Hedge” and “Shark Tale.” Before joining DreamWorks Animation, Walvoord worked at Blue Sky Studios as a Supervising Technical Director on the animated feature “Ice Age” and worked on Commercials and Live Action Visual Effects films such as “Fight Club.”
