Julia Jones is a Production Manager with a passion for sketch comedy and improv. Since 2020, she's been performing with her troupe Big Chick Energy at various festivals including Newfoundland Sketch Fest, TO Sketchfest, and Hamilton Fringe just to name a few. In 2025, Julia joined forces with John Portero, an actor, writer, producer and comedian from London, UK to create the sketch duo, Portero Jones. John previously served as the Artistic Director of Bristol Longform Comedy and has performed at numerous festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. John has worked with instructors from UCB, iO Improv, and Second City and now teaches improv with Bad Dog Theatre Company in Toronto.
