Rose-Ann Tisserand is the Founder and Executive Director of the Animation Career Excelerator Society (ACE Canada), a national initiative advancing mid-career women, non-binary, and Two-Spirit professionals into creative leadership roles in animation.

Through the production of original short films, ACE combines mentorship, workshops and real-world experience to accelerate participants into the roles of director, producer, writer, head of story, art director, animation director, editor, composer and production manager.

Under Rose-Ann’s leadership, ACE has produced four award-winning short films. Its third film, Ostinato, is viewable on Netflix. To date, 29 Canadian women have completed the program. Rose-Ann also served on the board of Women in Animation (WIA) Vancouver and continues to champion equitable leadership across the industry.
