Times have been tough in the industry, but we at TAAFI have put together this event to help connect emerging artists with seasoned professionals.

This is a series of 15 minute 1:1 meetings where you will have the chance to showcase your portfolio and ask career related questions while also networking with fellow creators.


We recommend you write down specific questions you’d like to ask in preparation for the event as we know brains can fail us when we least expect it and we want you to make the best of the 15 minutes you’ll have with your mentor.


Please note that this event is not intended to provide job opportunities, it’s meant to allow attendees access to feedback from experienced professionals who understand the current challenges in the animation industry.


This event will take place in-person at the TIFF Lightbox building in downtown Toronto on Saturday, April 11 from 10am to 6pm. The use of masks is still encouraged during the event to support the health and safety of all those attending, but is not required. Thank you for your consideration.


Please note that a pass to TAAFI 2026 is required.
