Job Overview:

TAAFI is looking for a Discord Community Manager to lead, organize, and moderate our official festival server. This role is ideal for someone who loves fostering community engagement, enjoys digital spaces, and understands how to keep an online community safe, active, and welcoming.

Responsibilities:

  • Moderate and monitor the TAAFI Discord server to ensure a positive, inclusive environment

  • Develop strategies to increase community engagement (discussion prompts, events, polls, Q&As, etc.)

  • Collaborate with TAAFI’s Marketing and Programming teams to share festival news and updates

  • Enforce community guidelines and resolve conflicts fairly

  • Provide feedback on community activity and growth

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience moderating or managing Discord servers (or other online communities)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Discord moderation tools and bots

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and fairness in handling community issues

  • Creative ideas for boosting engagement and community spirit
