Maral Mohammadian is a producer at the NFB’s English Animation Unit, based in Montreal. Her award-winning films include The Weatherman and the Shadowboxer by Randall Okita, Deyzangeroo by Ehsan Gharib, and the international co-productions Hide by Daniel Gray (Hungary/France) and Impossible Figures and other stories I by Marta Pajek (Poland). Her recent films include Maybe Elephants, by Oscar-winning director Torill Kove. Maral is the producer of the NFB’s flagship mentorship program, Hothouse, which has developed some of Canada’s top rising young talents.
