    Ken Faier is a senior executive in the children’s entertainment industry with over 30 years of experience building global franchises. Known for his "360-degree" approach to brand management, Faier founded Epic Story Media (ESM) in 2018 with the mission of putting creators at the center of multi-platform IPs that span television, digital content, gaming, and toys.


    Career Highlights

    Epic Story Media: Under his leadership, the Toronto-based company has grown into a full-service "ecosystem," encompassing subsidiaries like Night Market Games (mobile gaming) and its sister company Epic Storyworlds which also includes Freeground (Roblox development), and Loomi Animation (2D studio).

    DHX Media & Nerd Corps: Before founding Epic, Faier served as SVP and Executive Producer at DHX Media (now WildBrain). This followed DHX’s acquisition of Nerd Corps Entertainment, where Faier was President for over a decade, helping transform it into a world-renowned animation powerhouse.

    Early in his career, Faier was instrumental in the launch of Kidscreen magazine and the Kidscreen Summit, which remain the definitive trade publications and events for the global kids' entertainment industry.
