Molly Lacoursière

Holder of a B.A.C in Animation Arts and Science (2D/3D animation) and a D.E.C in Visual Arts, Molly has been in the animation industry since 2016. She specializes in character animation and rigging in 2D using Toon Boom Harmony. Her passion for character animation started by watching ''Looney Tunes'', developing further by analysing the work of her favorite artist, 'Chuck Jones'.

Originated from Québec , Molly started her career traveling across Canada to experiment with a variety of pipelines in different animation studios as well as learn new techniques. During her journey, Molly discovered a passion for the world of production and enrolled in WIA’s ACE program 3 as an Animation Director where she worked on 'Ostinato'' now available on Netflix.

She has worked in various positions in animation on projects like : Rick and morty spin off '' Vindicator'' , Last Kids on Earth, ''Trailer Park Boys'', ''Curious George the Movie” ,''Pinecone and Pony'' and more . She is currently working on her own indie 2D animated serie's called : Gertrude, l'héroine ordinaire (Gertrude the ordinary hero) .
