TAAFI Workshop: "House of S'Cool" with Drew Ng

Ever wondered how professional story artists transform a script into a visual sequence that guides an entire production?

In this hands-on workshop, the team from House of Cool will walk participants through the storyboard process used across their film and television projects.

Using a real-world example, the session will explore how a storyboard artist approaches a scene from script to pitch. Participants will see how a sequence evolves through key stages including script breakdown, thumb-nailing, and developing boards that communicate story, pacing, and emotion clearly to directors and production teams.

Perfect for students preparing portfolios, artists interested in storyboarding careers, and creators looking to strengthen their storytelling skills, the workshop will conclude with a Q&A where attendees can ask questions about the craft, the industry, and the training opportunities available through House of S’Cool, House of Cool’s educational initiative.

Note: TAAFI Workshops are separately ticketed events from our TAIC Industry / Film Festival.
